If you are, or even if you’re not, a reader or writer of poetry, you will enjoy discovering what makes a poem beautiful, and why we need beauty in our lives. This lecture, with some class participation, will present and analyze, in this regard, poems from around the world. Handouts of these poems will be made available. Class size limited to 25.
Jerry Neren is an award-winning published poet; a guest lecturer, presenter, and teacher of poetry; a judge in poetry competitions; and has been offered a publication contract for his recently completed novel in verse.
