Please bring to the class 15 copies of a poem you have written and would like to have workshopped. By applying to your poems the elements of imagination, language, musicality, rhythm, alliteration, simile, metaphor and emotion, as discussed in Part 1:The Beauty of Poetry workshop, we will endeavor to polish your poems by way of helpful and respectful comments and suggestions. Class size limited to 15.
Jerry Neren is an award-winning, published poet; a guest lecturer, presenter, and teacher of poetry; a judge in poetry competitions; and has been offered a publication contract for his recently completed novel in verse.
