Lorna Landvik’s eight published books, include the best selling, Patty Jane’s House of Curl. Other titles are: Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons, Oh My Star, Your Oasis on Flame Lake, The Tall Pine Polka, Welcome to the Great Mysterious, ‘Tis the Season, and her newest novel, The View from Mount Joy. Landvik is also a performer, most often seen in her one-woman show, “Party in the Rec Room,” every January at Bryant Lake Bowl. Writing and theater were her twin passions growing up in Minneapolis. Moving to California, she performed stand-up and improvisational comedy at the Comedy Store and The Improv. She supplemented her income with a variety of temp jobs–including one at the Playboy Mansion, and another at Atlantic Records. Lorna brings her own endearing sense of humor to her frequent speaking engagements. Best of all–she makes it easy for her fans to get wrapped up in her memorable characters’ lives.
