Most writers, even those who have taken numerous classes, are woefully unprepared for the level of textual rigor necessary for their books to find a good home in an increasingly volatile market. This workshop will prepare writers of all genres to measure their work against the standards that good agents and editors adhere to: genre, style, verisimilitude, characterization, theme, plot structure, point of view, and above all–marketability.
Ian Graham Leask, London born, negotiates several roles in the publishing world: literary consultant/book doctor, publisher of Scarletta Press, Inc., producer and co-host of KFAI’s “Write On! Radio,” and author of The Wounded and Other Stories About Sons and Fathers.
