Jean Travis 12:30 – 1:30
When Jean Travis tells people she facilitates workshops about life story writing, most ask, “Who would want to read about my life?” Explore that question and more in this workshop. For example, who is your audience, how do we begin, and what makes your stories interesting to read?” Are you writing life stories or a memoir? How will you publish your stories? Come with paper and pen. Leave with inspiration and handouts to immediately begin writing your personal stories.
Jean Travis is a life writer whose workshops, Digital Book Design, Save Your Life One Story at a Time and Turn Photo Albums into Life Stores foster the collection of stories as keepsakes for family enjoyment. Workshops are scheduled in her home studio and through the Richfield History Center where she is leading an effort to collect personal histories for the Center. Jean has co-edited several books, among them the 2008 award-winning Richfield, Minnesota’s Oldest Suburb.
