The Bloomington Theatre and Art Center invites all staff and teachers of local schools to participate in the 9th Annual Bloomington Writer’s Festival on March 24, 2012. In previous years, teachers have submitted classes and workshops for possible Continuing Education credits, and while the Writer’s Festival cannot promise that credit will be given, they will provide you a form at the registration table that confirms your participation.
To high school teachers, this is a wonderful opportunity for students who are aspiring writers to meet local authors and talk to them about their work. Perhaps consider giving them an extra credit project to interview an author on that day.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Pat Proft, Screenwriter, Actor and Comedian.
